About Us
We are the McSolar KidWind Team of McLean High School, a group of dedicated and enthusiastic students passionate about renewable energy and solar power. Our team has worked tirelessly designing, building, and testing our own solar panels , and we are thrilled to announce that we have qualified to represent our school at the prestigious KidWind World Competition in Phoenix, Arizona!

The KidWind Challenge is a national competition that encourages students to explore solar & renewable energy technology. We also have to incorporate coding at the High School level. It's an incredible opportunity for us to apply our STEM knowledge, develop problem-solving skills, and compete against the best and brightest students from around the world. This year, the World Competition will be held in Phoenix, Arizona, and we are excited to showcase our innovative solar energy design.

Our Mission
Our team is now working hard to prepare for the World Competition, but we need your help to make this dream a reality. The costs associated with traveling to Phoenix, including transportation, accommodation, and competition fees, are significant. Specifically, we are trying to raise $6,150 to cover these expenses.

Our Vision
With the help of the donation and sponsor we will be able to compete in the Kid Wind World competition.
